There are three painless ways you can take part in our bi-annual garage sales.

1. Donate your "stuff." Thanks to the generosity of board member Howard Trotter, we now have a place to collect items all year long. The Hobo Hotel's Garage Sales have become known as "must visit" sale for both bargain shoppers and and cat/kitten enthusiast.
2. Stop by and make some purchases.
3. Help us promote the garage sale.

 I am Sweet Baby, the Tail-less Wonder and I direct the Meowship program. The Hobo Hotel offers annual "meowships" for only $45.00! As one of the co-founders of the Hobo Hotel, I'm quite qualified and committed to this endeavor. You see, I was a little chap that was afraid of everyone. Somehow, I got stuck in some insulation in a trailer. I was so hungry. I meowed for help as loud as I could. I thought I was a goner. I finally saw a little daylight and inched my way towards the light. I was free! I ate at this red-headed person's house. She wanted to hold me but I was too frightened. Then, a lady came in a fancy car and took out a funny looking wire deal. She tricked me into going in it by putting some nice smelling food in it. From insulation to prison! What had I done wrong?

At least I got to ride in her beautiful car. Even that was short lived. Next, I was taken out of the car and the cage and a man made me go to sleep. When I woke up, my tail was gone! So, don't talk to me about having a bad day! I did not like that man, but later I understood that he saved my life. I've seen him several times since, and now I like him so much that I'd wag my tail at him if I had one.

It turns out that the September day in 1999 that I lost my tail was the unofficial beginning of the Hobo Hotel. So, the end of my tail began the start of something pretty darn good!

To help other cats and kittens, I'm offering a "meowship" to the Hobo Hotel. When you sign up, along with having a "purrfect" heart, you will also recieve a very special free gift of a big MEOW from me. A MEOW as loud in joy as it was in fear back in 1999! Purrrty good deal for only $45.00 per year.  A major "perk" is that we don't have meetings! Of course, if you want to serve on a committee or volunteer, you get an extra meow!

The money will be used for all sorts of stuff needed at the Hobo Hotel.
