Marigold is an adult, female. orange tabby who is a little shy. She needs a quite, committed family who can spend time gaining her trust so she will feel comfortable enough to get the attention she craves. She has lived with other cats, but may do better as an only cat.
Josh is a sweet, black and white, adult, male. He came to us as a kitten and has been with us almost his whole life, about 5 years. He is shy and needs a quiet household with a committed, patient family who will work to gain his trust. He likes pets, but gets nervous and coughs as you approach him, but as he slowly gets used to you, your house, and your attention, he will become more outgoing. He would do best with mature teens and would be okay with other cats..
Mocha was rescued from an oil rig when she was just a kitten and has been at the shelter about two years now. She is a shy, female, adult grey tabby. She is becoming more and more friendly and starting to enjoy people and attention. We have learned that she likes pats rather than stoking pets. she will need a patient, committed quiet household, willing to work with her to win her trust. She could do well with other cats with the proper introduction , but we feel she is too shy to do well with children.
Moxie was rescued from an oil field when she was just a kitten about two years ago. She is a shy, female, adult brown tabby. She is becoming more and more friendly and starting to enjoy people and attention. She will need a patient, committed quiet household, willing to work with her to win her trust. When she gets to know you, she will come right to you and loves to be petted and will roll over for you to pet her tummy! We feel she is too shy to do well with children and would do best as an only cat.
Olivia was rescued as a kitten from an oil drilling site when it closed down. She has become more social in the past year and is warming up to people who are calm and gentle. She needs an individual or couple who will give her time to adjust and become a member of the family. She is used to living with other cats and would do well with mature teens. She is an almost two-year-old, brown tabby with a medium length coat and a fluffy tail.
Penelope is a super friendly, sweet, adult, dilute orange tabby female. She is also FIV positive. This means that her immune system is compromised, but she could still live a very long life. She could also live with other cats (following a consultation with the vet prior to your decision to adopt). She would also be great for a family with kids. She LOVES our catio and would be happiest in a safe, outdoor enclosure, like a screened porch. She is about 5 years old. Please consider giving this very lovey girl a forever home!
Suzy is a senior, female cat, about 16 years old. She is black and white with a little black heart shape on her nose--too cute! She is shy and will need a quite household with committed owners willing to give her time to adjust and work to earn her trust. She is probably too shy to be good with kids, but would do well with other cats with the proper introduction. Suzi would love to live her retirement years in a forever home
Waldene would make a great mouser/Barn Cat. Or she could be an indoor/outdoor cat. We'd love to find her a forever home where she could be appreciated, even though she is so shy. She would do well with other cats, but is too shy for kids who may want a cuddly pet. She was rescued as a kitten about two years ago, but just has not learned to fully trust people yet.
KK is a female, adult, dilute orange tabby, about 3 years old. She would be a great barn cat/mouser. She is extremely shy of people and would not really be a pet, but she would learn to trust her owners over time and appreciate a good outdoor home with shelter and regular meals. She could pay you back by keeping your barn or shop clear of mice and eventually may become your friend. Got a place for her or know of someone who does? Please share her story.
Willie is an adult, male grey tabby, about 5 years old. He is extremely shy and will require a very committed owner who want to really save a cat and help him find his happy. He is too shy for kids and other cats. He needs a quite home and lots of time to adjust to a new home room by room. Can you be his hero?
Jane.Look at those Gorgeous, Big, Green Eyes! Jane is a black, adult female. She is independent, but loves to play and get attention at times. She can be a lap kitty at times, but likes her space other times. She is on a special diet for a sensitive tummy (IBS) that can sometimes give her litter box issues. She would prefer a family with preteens versus small children. She does ok with the other cats at the shelter. Come by and meet her!
Fluffer iis a long-haired, white, male kitty, about two years old. He enjoys getting pets and will let you know when he's had enough, so he is not recommended for kids younger that teens. He suffers from IBS and has litter box issues. He is on a special diet to help with this. He is adoptable to a committed family with easy-to-clean floors as he will use a a litter box to pee, but has issues with getting there to poo because it is runny. He may do well on a screened-in porch where clean-up will be easier to manage. We sometimes trim his hair to keep him cleaner too. Fluffer also has dental issues that will worsen and require vet care. If you are interested in adopting Fluffer, we would discuss good options for his living situation and we may ask you to speak to his vet to learn all you can about his medical conditions. He would be okay with other cats-he ignores them. He is a sweet boy who deserves a good home and a family to love, it just has to be the right family that can devote the time and love he needs
Lando is a black, adult male who has never fully trusted all people, although he has picked a few that he will let pet him. When he hears them, he comes running for attention and love. Others can get in a few pets, but then he lets you know he is not sure of you with a swat. Lando would love for someone to take him on as a project and help him with his socialization. We are hoping that if a devoted adopter works with him, he will learn to trust and become a good pet. He is is ok with other cats, but would prefer to be an only cat.
Nala is a sweetie! She is a all grey, female, adult. She has a well controlled seizure disorder that requires medication. Any serious adopter will receive a consultation with our vet before the final decision to adopt. Nala would be best with preteens versus small children. She is good with other cats. Nala may miss her litter box at times, but always gets pretty close-a washable rug under her box would help this issue. Nala loves attention and is very playful. Please help this special baby find her forever home.
Topsy is a young, female, brown tabby Manx without a tail. Topsy has Manx syndrome which results in litter box issues. She does not always know when it's time to use the litter box, so has accidents. Her bottom needs to be cleaned a few times a week but she does try to clean herself. She does not have any gait problems. She is free-roaming during the day, and put up at night. She is on a special diet as well. She is very sweet, playful and talkative. At this time, Topsy is adoptable to the right family and the right situation. If you are interested in adoption, we can talk about what might be good living condition for her. Her litter box issues may make her a better screened porch cat or she could live with someone with concrete floors. We may even consider her as an outdoor cat. She does well with other cats, and would do well with older kids.
Junior What a sweetie! Junior is a little shy but sure loves getting some love and attention. He is a grey and white tabby male, adult about 4 years old. He would not do well with small children, because he is too shy. He needs to be an only cat, because he is Feline Leukemia positive. Any serious adopter would be scheduled for a consult with our vet to discuss diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, risk factors, etc before an adoption could be finalized. He is a sweetie and worth the extra love he so deserves.

It is not an issue for her. Furball is also heartworm positive. Unfortunately, there is no approved drug therapy for heartworm infection in cats, but cats can often be helped with good veterinary care. Furball is symptom free now, but any serious adopter would be scheduled for a consult with our vet to discuss diagnosis, prognosis, treatment, risk factors, etc before an adoption could be finalized. Furball is good with other cats and kids.
